Hi friends, Cod liver oil is a very familiar word for me since my child hood. I still remember those days when my mother used to consume this fish oil with that nasty smell regularly. I think the secret of her health and physical fitness was her regular consumption of cod liver oil. Seven seas is the first company to produce code liver oil. Prevention is better than cure can be achieved by consumption of cod liver oil which is not producing any side effects. My mother never faced any indigestion problem, nor a victim of any heart decease mainly due to the consumption of code liver oil. My mother is no more now but code liver oil is still consumed in our home. Now it is my wife's turn.

this has been a staple for all around malise in my family for years, before it became fashionable. i stopped taking it because it always "backed up on me", burps, gas etc. i also think i got the runs from it, but i can't be sure

Pros:

i agree that it is definitely good for you if you can tolerate it.

Cons:

made me burp, bloat, possibly gave me the runs so i switched to fish oil capsules that work much better.

My younger sister suffer from swelling in legs due to cold.After consulting doctor we have
started giving "COD LIVER OIL" to her.As it provides a rich source of vitamins A, D and E.
Now swelling is coming down,as she is taking proper dosage of cod liver oil.
