I used these last time I had a cold, and they did help but I like the menthol style personally. That makes me neutral on this product.

Pros:

Tasted decent and appeared to help.

Cons:

When I am stuffed up, I like the strength of menthol.

These are the only cold lozenges I know that actually have somewhat of an effect on me. Halls, etc have never done anything, but taking Cold-Eeze I did not shorten the cold but it cleared my nose somewhat and made the cold less severe. They're no substitute for an antibiotic, but they're good for a quick fix, if you can stand the horrible taste.

After hearing that zinc is a real cold suppressant and can even stop a cold from happening, I decided to try these lozenges. You are supposed to take them at the first sign of a cold. I did this and I did not get a cold! I have used these for years now and would say they are at least 80% effective at stopping a cold in its tracks if you take them soon enough. I would recommend these for everyone.
