I don't know why I use these things. They don't seem to have any effect on the size or appearance of your pores, or on breakouts, but there's something mesmerizing about looking at the little forest of spiky gook it pulls out.

If you use them, rub some Neosporin or something similar on afterward. I used to get infections after using these until I started using antibacterial cream in conjunction with them.

I love love LOVE these things. I love them so much i wish that I could use them more than once or twice a week but if you do so, it's basically detrimental because they work so well. I have what I think are kind of large pores on my nose and usually when my skin starts to feel a little rough I use one of these strips. Dont ask me why because I dont know, but for a week or so afterwards my skin on my nose is like a baby's and it makes for applying make-up a lot easier. I love these!

Pros:

Visibly remove the dirt and oil from your pores so you know it works. They also make youre skin pretty soft even though that isn't somthing I think they marketed about it.

Cons:

Be near a sink when removing them because although they are dry they sometimes leave a white residue which has embarrassed me on a few occassions.

I used these for a short time not long ago. I have very oily skin, and I had hoped that the pore strips would help my completion. While they did get some "gunk" out, I was overall displeased. I felt that they did not deliver the results promised.

Biore pore strips are made to clean your pores and eliminate blackheads. They have strips for the face and for the nose. You are supposed to wet the area of the face first and then apply the strip. You have to wait about ten minutes for the strip to harden before you peel it off. I do notice blackheads being removed but if you have sensitive skin, especially on your nose, then it can hurt a little bit.
