My wife, a mother of two children is a busy woman and used to spend most of her time with value adding activities. Last year at the age of 46, she started feeling tiredness even after attending easy jobs. After going through medical check up, we came to know that she is suffering due to hemoglobin deficiency in her blood. As per Doctor's prescription she took GNC Folic Acid for few months and now she got all energy back. I am surprised to see her perform better than ever. Now she is fit both physically as well as mentally.

I used this product for quite awhile before I learned I wasn't doing myself any favors by taking it by itself. Folic Acid is water-soluble Vitamin B9 and Folacin.
If you supplement with a B vitamin you will cause deficiencies in other B vitamins in your system. Since it's all about balance, it is best to either take a B-Complex instead or take one along with the Folic Acid.

Date Purchased: 07/02
Price Paid: $10
Recommend: No
Pros:
Works as advertised. No known drug interactions.

Cons:
Can cause B vitamin deficiencies if taken alone. Can mask anemia.
