Maybe it's that I'm just not a big fan of the RTDs, but I really didn't dig this stuff. I'd heard from other post-RNY patients that they make their protein shakes with muscle milk (talk about a protein overload!), but I decided to drink it solo . I've tried a lot of the flavors at GNC, particularly the Light varieties. I found them to be a little too heavy, and did not at all like the texture or the "smell". I think it might just be my persnickety nature, but I didn't like this stuff. I do know a lot of people that guzzle it up, but it's just not my cup of tea.

it has a high sugar content and are good as a nutritional drink. however, afer drinking it you will fell thicker.

These are almost so good that you wonder if you are even drinking a nutrition drink. I was told to take one after completing my workout. I got really bloated and felt thicker, though, similar to the feeling you get after eating too much. I usually seek the "clean" feeling after a workout, the feeling of being tight and lean. This honestly felt like I just left McDonalds with a triple thick milkshake. I was not very impressed. Loaded with sugar.
