I've learned to reach for this at the first sign of sniffles etc. esp. for my school age son. He hasn't missed a day in school since we discovered it! (much easier said than done) When we hear something is 'going around' we take this and extra Vit. C as a precaution. It has kept this household much healthier.

Pros:

Great way to safeguard health. Wonderful immune system booster.

Cons:

There are some scientific studies indicating that continuous long-term use of this product can over-stimulate the immune system causing issues. However, there are also studies supporting this being a non-issue. Research the issue and decide for yourself prior to daily use longer than two weeks.

Hi friends, I took this vitamin "Echinacea" manufactured by Nature Made as per the advice of my friend who is a medical practitioner. I was feeling physical weakness resulting in mental depression. After taking "Echinacea", I felt as if my lost energy is restored. One can try this vitamin and get energized like me. Since it is made of natural ingredients ,the side effect is also less.

this is not a complaint against this particular brand, but i find that when i take it, i get this "metally" taste in my mouth that lasts for hours.

These vitamins have been the best that I have used and, for some reason, I feel my best when I take them everyday. I usually take one a day with breakfast and I can feel the difference then when I used to just take multivitamins. When I do not take these supplements, I can tell that there is a difference. Maybe this has something to do with the psychological effect that I think I am boosting my immune system, but all I know is that when I take these everyday, I have not gotten sick once. I highly recommend these supplements to boost your immune system if you find yourself getting sick constantly or you are not feeling up to speed.

Huge boost to immune system, keeps your body on constant defense against seasonal viruses and infections that come every fall/spring.

Cons:

Sometimes pill may get stuck in your throat, the pills can also break easily
