I took my cat to the veterinarian because he was laying in the floor straining to pee and could not pee. I was so scared, as I know enough about cats to know that this could be deadly. They were able to get him to urinate a bit and they sent me home with some medications and this cat food. They said he would need to be on this cat food forever but that it would prevent this from happening again. So far it has worked wonders. He has not gotten plugged again and he LOVES this food. I would recommend it to every cat owner.
