One of my cats has mega-colon. Because of this, he has to take prescription medications three times a day, and they are not cheap. Plus, the medication he takes was pulled off the shelves for humans due to heart related illnesses. Because of this, I looked for ways to keep my cat from having to take this medication as much as he was. My veterinarian suggested this supplement. Its a laxative for cats. I give him a dose every morning and now he only has to take his medication once a day instead of three times a day. I would recommend this product to anyone who has this issue with their cats. Is also a good hairball remedy.
