In search of a supplement to possibly aid in strenghtening my hair and improving my skin condition, I discovered biotin at my local pharmacy.
Biotin is vitamin H or B7. It occurs naturally in many foods.
The supplement is easy to take, comes in a 100 count bottle and was quite inexpensive, however my hopes for a miracle pill have not been realized. I have been taking the supplement for a couple months but I have not noticed any changes in my face or hair. I have also read that biotin can help metabolize fats and carbohydrates, but I have not witnessed these results either.
Since it is a natural vitamin, I may just increase my daily intake of bananas, legumes and mushrooms which all contain biotin.
