Neutrogena's Makeup Remover Cleansing towelettes are gentle on my skin and does not leave it feeling sticky or oily. However, do not use this as a substitute for cleansing at the end of the night. These towelettes are nice, but they only remove SURFACE dirt and oil from your face. You need to use your regular cleanser if you are going to use these at night. These do not do any deep cleaning whatsoever. I constantly find myself thinking that my face is clean since the towel isn't picking up anymore dirt off of my face, but once I use my toner I can see how much dirt and make up was actually still left on my face. I do not expect a make up remover towelette to remove everything, but it should not leave that much dirt. I will be looking for something better.

I do a lot of musical theater so you can imagine the amount of makeup that has to be removed after each performance. This past year I did a show that actually had no running water backstage in the dressing rooms so I bought these. Believe me, when you spend all evening running yourself into the ground and that show finally ends, you basically just want to get out of your costume and leave but without the crazy makeup on. These wipes took off thick stage make up just as fast as daily make up and I was amazed. I now use them even when I do also have running water!

Pros:

They smell a little funny to me but I suppose that's why they work. And with a demostration on the thick, oily makeups that are used in theater, that's amazing.

Cons:

A little on the pricey side for something that good old fashioned soap and water can also take care of.

I have been using these since January 2008 and I think that this product is great! It is so easy to use it, that you can have it with you wherever you go. These make-up remover towelettes are so gentle that they remove my make-up by leaving my face fresh. I recommend them to all women!
