Grab this when in a hurry one day. Brought it home only to have DH glance at the label and send it back. It contains 'dl' tocopherols, an indication it is synthetic and potentially doing more damage than good. When you see 'dl' think 'da loser' to help remember. Look for 'mixed' tocopherols instead for healthy 'E' advantages.

I have a bunch of scars from surgeries and these regular Vitamin E capsules worked great for trying to reduce the scar tissue build up I encountered during recovery. Cutting the capsules open and rubbing the liquid E over my scars worked better than mederma.

I use this all the time but I never take it internally. I used to but found that it thins your blood. I put it on my skin (face) right before the shower. Also, you can apply it to scrapes and cuts to help them heal faster. I have also used it on my nails during a home pedicure. I dont see why I should pay more for a brand name when Rite Aid has a cheaper price and its the same thing.

Pros:
Rite Aid price is cheap.

Cons:
Tiny capsules. Need 2-3 to cover your face.
