Another rave for Zeno! This is the best spot treatment that I've ever used. Zeno is FDA-approved for the treatment of mild-to-moderate inflammatory acne, so it is not simply a gimmick. It does not work on non-inflammatory acne like blackheads and whiteheads, and is not indicated for cystic/nodular acne. However, I didn't see why it wouldn't work on a cyst, so I tried it on a cyst as soon as I felt it under my skin. Zeno did not prevent the redness from appearing but the cyst never became pus-filled. basically, it looked like the cyst would look on the first day and stayed that way for a couple days and then disappeared w/o a trace. it required 3-4 treatments a day for about 3 days; this is more than I needed for a typical pustule, which only required 1-2 treatments and would then disappear in 24 hours. I would've normally still had the cyst and once it healed, I'd have a prominent red mark for weeks or months thereafter. I still have a large red mark from my last cyst but nothing at all on the recent one I treated with Zeno! The most important thing to remember is that you must use Zeno early, before you actually see pus, or it will not work. For the clinical study that demonstrated Zeno's efficacy, check out the White Paper at this link: http://www.myzeno.com/cp_product.htm
