When I was in college a few years ago I began to break out for the first time in my life. A little break out turned into a huge problem. My entire face looked terrible. I was depressed. I tried everything. One day a professor of mine brought me into his office and told me his daughter was using proactiv and that it had worked wonders for her. I was familiar with the infomercials, but like everyone else, was a skeptic. I figured I had nothing left to lose, so I made the purchase. Within a week I noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. Within a month, I looked different. People were asking me what I was using, what I was eating, etc. Compliments started to come my way again.
After about 1 1/2 months I was back to my old self. I still use the product today and it still works. I suggest this to anyone desperate for help with acne.

I started using Proactive a while ago. It took it a little time to work, but after about 2 weeks, my face was clear and clean. I love Proactive. I have not used it for about a year now, and my face is still soft and free of pimples. I would recommend this product to anyone. The only thing I did not like was, after washing my face and putting on the next step, it kind of burned a little.

It was okay, but not okay for the price. The only thing that really worked was the last step in the product. It didnt clear up pores and was poor. This product may difffer for climate and age of person.

I used this for almost a year and it helped out for about a week and then I stopped seeing results like I did when I first started using it. I thought that if I got my skin used to using it, everything would work out but it never did. I have since gone to using cheaper products because they work so much better.

I took proactiv for 5 months and I found it helped until I stopped using it and found my skin was actually worse than it was to begin with. I didn't really have bad skin, I just wanted to even out my skin and when I stopped using it I found my skin was oily and broke out more often.

I bought this product after seeing the ad in TV since I have so much of black dots in my face. As per Proactiv instruction, I have applied only once per day.
But result is nothing.

I bought proactive after seeing numerous commercials and reading rave reviews on the Internet.
I could only use the proactive for 5 days. My skin was pimple free but sadly my face was bright red and burned terribly just using the proactive once a day at night.

I bought this product after seeing the amazing results and endorsements on the commercials. While I love the feel of my skin after using, I've not seen as much of an improvement as I'd like. I'm an adult with acne and I believe it has helped some, but hasn't completely eliminated it. I had hoped to be able to use Proactiv instead of prescription products.

Proactiv leaves your skin soft and smooth. It definitely cleans well, also.
Cons:
It hasn't gotten rid of my acne and the cost is too high for it to not meet it's promises. |

I have seen many commercials for this product and have always wondered if it really worked. Many of my friends have tried it and they have seen little results but, I figured everyone is different. So I decided to try it out for myself. I used the product everyday for about two months and seen no results. My face actually broke out more than before. I was very disappointed that I wasted my money on this product.

My 17 year old daughter had tried every product on the shelves to treat her acne. Most dried her skin out and really didn't make much of a difference. We bought the proactive line from an infomercial and she's been using it faithfully for over a year now. Her skin is almost totally blemish free now and her spirits have been soaring! And now that we can buy it in separate bottles from a vending machine at the mall, it's a very convenient system for her to use.

This product actually works exceptionally well, I believe every one of the ads I've seen for it, because I know it works. Unfortunately, you have to use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Missing even one day causes acne to reappear. It's a great product, everyone should try it, but if you're not consistent in your beauty/facial care like I am, you might want to try something else.
