As far as vitamins go, these are decent. The taste isn't too bad, the texture is so-so, and I don't really see any improvement while taking these vitamins.

Date Purchased: February 2008
Price Paid: $7
Recommend: No
Pros:
Affordable

Cons:
Taste and texture are so-so, don't see much in the way of an effect

My son would never take his vitamins. Nothing could get him to take his vitamins. The Flintstones Gummies are like magic, because he keeps reminding me to give them to him. The only thing I don't like is how long it took me to find these.

I give these to my 8 and 4 year old children. They ask everyday for their vitamin and sometimes beg for more lol. I have noticed they get less colds in the winter time if I am very strict about giving them out at the same time everyday.

I've read that most vitamins are 'released' from the body without doing much good. That is why our urine changes color after taking vitamins. The body needs certain minerals included in the vitamins in order for most vitamins to do us any good. I stopped buying regular store bought vitamins and went to specialty shops. Evidently Flintstones is out of the Stone Age, because they are now including the minerals. As my son says, "Good job."

Look and taste like candy!

Cons:

My 6 year old boy actually looks forward to taking this vitamin. I've taste tested them as well and can see his enthusiasm. Always difficult to know how effective any multi-vitamin is, but if you are in favor of them this is a great one to try for the kids.

Date Purchased: 01/08
Price Paid: $5

Pros:
Great for kids, delicious.

I sometimes watch a neighbor's son who uses these and he claims his son has a better time sleeping and waking up. It sounds unclear as to their effectiveness, because he is only six years old. all in all, they seem to have the nutritional information to back them up, so they must be effective.

Date Purchased: April/2007
Price Paid: $8

Pros:
good taste, easy to take

Cons:
question about effectiveness

I have a four year old son who just started pre-school, and let me tell you he loves it! I usually give it to him daily, once in the morning. He thinks its candy. Every morning after breakfast he asks impatiently "Dad can I have a gummy?" I'm like sure, here go right ahead!

Date Purchased: 10-16-08

I buy this regularly for my son. Not only does it have great flavors (yea, I've tried a few) but he thinks he's getting a treat instead of mean old medicine!!

Date Purchased: 01/2008
Price Paid: $5
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Great taste, kids like it, gummies are easy to take for smaller children.

Cons:
Sometimes a child thinks it's a treat and you have to hide it.
