I have used cayenne tincture for bleeding and it helps. It's like natures quick stop. It normalizes blood flow so whether bleeding or heart attack it can help. Should be in all first aid kits.

Pros:

Stops bleeding, and can help with heart issues. take some in bad weather to stay warm.

Cons:

not many but could upset some sensitive stomachs

Cayenne in powered form or as a tincture is an essential in any ER kit. If you suspect you might be having a heart attack take some tincture or open some capsules under your tongue. We had some 180 BTU stuff in the van when DH had his third heart attack. The doctors never could explain why he lived. We knew! Also useful for stopping bleeding. Should be taken on a daily basis to thin and clean the blood and offer more Vit C than citrus fruits! It's great for circulation. The powder can be used to keep feet warm by placing some in your socks. Works wonderfully until you're in a warm environment, then plan on washing your feet a few times! LOL

Pros:

Great for the heart and blood health. Top notch for circulation. Great source of Vit C. Inexpensive and highly effective. Capable of saving lives. The Super Hero of the herbal world!

Cons:

Can increase the absorption rate of other meds, so check with your doctor. Should not be used if people are taking ACE inhibitors or antacids.
