As a post-WLS patient, it is important for me to have a LOT of protein in my diet. So one thing I have to do on a regular basis is protein shakes. The Syntrax Nectar Apple is OK, but it does have a strong apple taste. I prefer the Nectar berry flavors, but this still has a pleasant taste and lacks that gritty "protein" aftertaste. A good product.

It is not often that you come across a product like this. With their Nectar range, Syntrax aim to give you a refreshing fruit drink that will deliver a great deal of protein for those looking to lose weight or build muscle. The best thing about this product is the taste. Sure, it tastes like apple candy but who can resist the childhood memory of such sweet delights. I began to take this supplement during the summer and still use it every day. It does not weigh you down like other protein supplements and you will look forward to drinking it if, like me, you enjoy fake apple flavor. The only disadvantage is that you need to take at least three servings daily if you are looking to build muscle. Otherwise, this product is remarkable!

It tastes great and will not leave a foul taste in your mouth.
It has only 90 calories per serving.
You will look forward to drinking it pre or post-workout.

Cons:

It is not for those who do not like candied apple flavor
You must take at least three servings daily if you are looking to bulk up
Since you will go through a batch very quickly, it is not cheap at approx $30 per drum
