I have to get up early every morning for work, and a couple of Powerbars always keep me going until lunch. Without them, I would not have the energy I need to effectively work. They also taste great, which is a big plus, as I know other energy bars that taste terrible. The only downside is cost, but for me it's worth it because of the service they provide me.

I guess taste is subjective...but the consistency and taste of these bars is not such that I look forward to eating these. I bought one box and doubt I'll buy another. Good way to get quick calories and protein though.

I normally hate products like this, because the gyms I have been in are normally flooded with them. They are usually very high priced and do not taste good. Furthermore, the bars usually have no noticeable effect. These bars, however, have the opposite qualities. They are great tasting (with no aftertaste), and they do give me the energy I need before a workout. Best of all, they can benefit either before or after a workout, because they work during the recovery stage as well. While I took them, I usually consumed them upon completing my workout; they were like a treat!
