This is really great protein shake, and for the amount of protein you are receiving per serving, the taste is unbelievable. If you are looking to put on some quality muscle with a great tasting protein then this is the product for you. The calorie and carb intake is very low and it tastes great. You can mix with water, milk or soy milk. It also tastes great mixed as a delicious pudding. If you have trouble stomaching other proteins and you are looking for something based on flavor I would go with this. But if you are looking for the most bang for your buck I recommend something a little cheaper.

BSN has recently begun to sell a line of protein powders called "Lean Dessert". They are thicker powders with about 20g of protein per scoop, and are available in a variety of flavors. I tried the "Chocolate Fudge" flavor.
Content-wise, it's pretty good. Two heaping scoops gives you 40g of protein, and has fewer calories and carbs than other powders. It's inferior to high-end protein powders like Designer Whey and Muscle Milk, but Lean Dessert is a good value for the price (about $24 retail for a 2-lb jug). If you order through a discount retailer like Amazon.com, it is even cheaper. The taste (at least for chocolate fudge) is mediocre, but if you mix it with milk the taste improves dramatically. Also, I would imagine that the powder would work well in baked goods. It tends to be a little thick as a shake, but might make a decent protein pudding.
Overall, if you're just getting into protein powders, try one of the more popular ones first. If you're on a budget, though, Lean Dessert isn't a bad option. However, if you're serious about bodybuilding, use a powder like Designer Whey or Muscle Milk.
