While I enjoy this from time to time myself, I used used it heavily with my kids esp. when they were too small to swallow pills. They enjoy the taste and ask for it as a treat sometimes. I've learned to look for it in the large (bulk) envelopes, makes it much more affordable.

As a side note, taking too much Vit C causes loose stools. When the kids get bound up, I've learned to give them double their usual C to act as a natural laxative. ;-)

Date Purchased: 08/07
Price Paid: $20
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Works great to help safeguard health. Easy to take, even for younger kids. Tastes good. Can double as a natural laxative.

Cons:
Expensive. Less expensive bulk envelopes can be hard to find (but worth seeking out!)

Excellent product, I carry it with me in my briefcase so I have it when ever I feel a cold coming on.

Pros:
I think this reduced the impact of colds if you take it right when you are starting to get a runny nose.

Cons:
I like the raspberry flavor the best.

Whenever I have the first sign of a cold, I grab my Emergen-C. It's awesome to keep a cold from happening, and it even tastes great! I can have my son take it even, he doesn't refuse the taste like other supplements.

Date Purchased: 04/2005
Price Paid: $11

Pros:
Great taste, easy to take, good for kids.

I took it, under the impression that Vitamin C would give me energy. Well, it didn't. I took it for an entire week, and I didn't feel any different. If you need something to get you moving, grab an energy drink, not this.

Date Purchased: 12/07
Price Paid: $18
Recommend: No
Pros:
Tastes pretty good.

Cons:
Doesn't work, and it's expensive.

I have tried this product and ester-c and prefer this much better. I was a highly concentrated vitamin-c that was easy to take without any side effects. When I had taken ester-c one of the downsides is that it can cause mouth or tongue sore if you take too much. Nothing like that here

Date Purchased: 05/2007
Price Paid: $29
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
easy to use
highly concentrated vitamin c

Cons:
none yet

Like clockwork, I get sick once a year. And these really helps. They are soothing and help remedy some symptoms of cold/flu. They are generally cheaper on base, if any of you are military.

Date Purchased: Sept 2008
Price Paid: $10
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Taste like candy, older children will probably be less resistant to these than to Halls.

Cons:
None that I can think of.

I was getting the signs of a cold starting on and a coworker suggested taking Emergen-C. Its basically a huge dose of Vitamin C. I think it helped, my cold never turned into a full blown cold. You can take it anywhere. You just need a glass of water.

Date Purchased: 08/20/2008
Price Paid: $14
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Tastes great

Cons:
Pricey
