I used to work for a large vitamin company and was recommended this product when I first had some bladder problems. I took Wellness colloidal silver with mixed results, and do believe that rinsing my infected ear with it provided some relief. I did get over the earache without needing a doctor. I found this brand to be the best at that time.
HOWEVER, after I had used silver several times I found out that many products do not actually contain what they claim to. I also found out that this is fortunate because silver is some what toxic to YOU just as it is to some bacteria. It can also discolor your skin, some times extremely so. Introducing a metal into the body in significant amounts is dangerous, and an amount that seems insignificant to you can be extremely significant to your body.
To help with my bladder problems the recommended dose was much higher than the package instructions. I didn't change color, but that doesn't make it ok.
I occasionally use it externally, but I will no longer take it internally as I did not see great results from it and have seen enough medical evidence to believe it is dangerous to ingest.
I would proceed with caution because most colloidal silver is at best a fraud and at worst a dangerous treatment. If nothing else, do not exceed the amount suggested on the package.
If it isn't helping, then please see a doctor before you increase your dose.
