I remember having Rachel Perry Lip Lovers way back. Like I said, my mom always encouraged me to choose the healthiest products possible. Over time, I started to get low on my Tangerine lip balm, and every time I would go to the Vitamin Shoppe store, I would see them on display. Finally, I decided to pick up another flavor, which turned into a little collection. Of all things, I like having a lip product that is natural, considering you end up pretty much ingesting it!
First off, these lip balms smell incredibly delicious! The aroma is absolutely enticing, and the flavors are wonderful. The first one I tried – the Tangerine Dream – was something I really liked, which is why I ended up buying more flavors. The scent alone is great, but these also taste great too. They are sweet with a hint of flavor. There isn’t that waxy taste to it like some of the thicker lip balms I have tried. It also adds a touch of gloss, although not too much. You can tell I have some sort of lip balm on, but it doesn’t look like shiny gloss. (In other words, a guy could use it too). Speaking of guys, this a lip balm that my husband can appreciate. Rather than leaning in for a kiss and getting some plain waxy balm on his lips, the Rachel Perry Lip Lover is a smooth, tasty balm!
The consistency of the lip balm is just right for me. It is nice and slick, not too thick or too thin. I use this balm quite a bit, whether or not my lips are chapped. I use lip balm before going to bed, and I use it more often in the winter when my lips get dry. It feels very nice and soothing, and never burns or further irritates my lips, even the Tangerine scent (sometimes citrus flavor balms irritate my lips). The SPF 15 is another nice feature, since I usually forget to protect my lips in the sunshine.
They say you can also use Rachel Perry Lip Lovers on your cuticles and other areas. Once in a while, when I have a cold and my nose is raw and dry, I put a little on my nose, and it helps! It is nice to use natural products that are safe and can be used on different areas of the body.
The Rachel Perry Lip Lovers stay on pretty well, even though they aren't too waxy. I think my lips absorb it pretty well, or are at least soothed fairly quickly.
The pot of balm is also nice and small. Generally, I do not like lip balms that come in bulky containers, because it makes it hard to fit into a pocket or purse. This is also made of plastic, which is not particularly environmentally friendly compared to glass, but it is nice and light. I also like the “color-coordinated” lids, which make finding a flavor very easy.

The coconut & banana flavor of this lip balm by Rachel Perry is simply delicious. If you like the dream in the tropics then just slap some of this on and you will not be disappointed. It contain shea butter to help moisturize and also SPF 15 to protect from harmful sun rays. The only difficulty is you will like the flavor so much you will lick it all of your lips. It cos in a very kitsch little tub wit a cool design on the front
