I love Heinz white vinegar! I use a vinegar rinse on my hair several times a week to remove product buildup and re balance the ph. It keeps my highlights very shiny!

I also use vinegar in the wash to remove odors.

I also mix it in a spray bottle with water for cleaning the bathroom and kitchen counters.

Pros:
It is very inexpensive! It has so many uses not including cooking!

Cons:
The only con is vinegar stinks a little bit. However the smell dissipates very quickly.

best "old" item on the shelf today - it is an antiseptic, cleaning agent, smell eradicator - i don't buy laundr;y detergent, i guy white vinegar! the smell goes away as soon as the wash cycle begins, my clothing turns out bright, it doesn't damage them at all and i save so much money.

Pros:
see my review above

Cons:
you have to watch to only buy white vinegar, the other kinds will stink you out and not do the job as good as the ones i have suggested above.

Okay, so technically white vinegar may not be a supplement, however, it is the best sunburn remedy I have used! Had a burn once that all the major products didn't help at all. After several days I was desperate, so when a friend suggested white vinegar, I gave it a try. Soaked a couple of paper towels in it and applied it to the burn for about 20 min. Felt wonderful! I didn't peel and only had to reapply a few times.

Pros:
Cheap, effective, almost always already on hand, 100% natural. Sunburns won't peel and will tan nicely!

Cons:
Two or three times out of, hmmm, a whole herd of times it stung upon application. It fades but when you're already hurting ;-( Haven't figured out the differences yet.
