We all need to add more fiber but let's face it, trying to slug down psyllium before it gels is ... well ... unpleasant. The capsules make life MUCH more pleasant.

A couple of cautions must be kept in mind, always drink plenty of water throughout the day. Like most fibers, it will pull it from your system and bind you up if you don't. If you are taking rx or OTC supplements, be certain to take this well before or a couple of hours after your other pills. Fiber is well known for absorbing all sorts of things. Timing is everything.

Pros:

Inexpensive, EASY to take (yeah! ;-)

Cons:

Can interfere with medications/supplements if not properly spaced apart. Can bind you if too little water is ingested during the day. (true of all fibers)

GNC Psyllium is effective and convenient

I have recently tried this over drinking psyllium. I can say this works as well as the traditional way of drinking it which is to mix it with water and drink it like a gel. This table made my bowel movements regular
