Works well to help the body fight off viral infections (those lasting weeks rather than days as is typical of bacterial). Also known to help heal injuries faster.

It is Vit B3, as such should not be taken without a B vitamin complex. Supplementing one B vit will cause deficiencies in others. I found I could not tolerate the regular formula and had to switch to the non-flush version. Should not be taken in large doses and preferably not for long term as liver damage is a potential. The non-flush formulas are especially risky for long term use.

Due to the risk of long term use, we use artichoke extract for cholesterol control instead.

Date Purchased: 01/07
Price Paid: $5
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Effective with viral infections and to speed healing.

Cons:
Not recommended for long term use due to risk of liver damage.
